I am Head teacher of St Cuthbert's Infants School and my team and I are dedicated to becoming effective emotion coaches as a method for embedding and creating a nurture and attachment aware school. This is because, we believe, this will allow us to better support the emotional well being of all our children (and their families) which will enable our children to access their learning in a safe and secure, confident and happy way. Our desire is to use this approach in a wholistic manner, working alongside other external agencies to ensure a coherent cohesive team approach to children's well being.

I am Head of Centre at the Mendip Link Education Centre based in Glastonbury. We work with children and young people who have a medical condition which stops them from being able to attend mainstream school. Many of the children and young people we work with have a mental health diagnosis and so we work closely with CAMHS professionals. We work with approximately 25 students either in our Key Stage 4 centre of on outreach in the family home. There are many opportunities for Emotion Coaching every day and we are really excited about the way Emotion Coaching will change, for the better, the way we work with our students.
Mendip Partnership School - Caroline Peters
I am Deputy Head at Mendip Link Education Centre where I work with Abby Atkins. I teach Maths at the centre and act as a tutor to a small group of young people. I organise the Enrichment Programme for the Centre which looks to provide a variety of activities and experiences for the young people at the Centre. I also teach young people on outreach, often in their homes where I will have to work quite closely with the family as well as the students.
